An Fál Carrach sometimes called Na Crois Bhealaí ("the crossroads") is a small Gaeltacht town and townland in northwest County Donegal, Ireland. The settlement is in the old parish of Cloughaneely.
The town is in a beautiful setting within a short drive of Donegal's most incredible scenery including Muckish and Errigal Mountains, beautiful sandy beaches, the cliffs at Horn Head or Glenveagh National Park
Tory Island and Inisboffin are off shore from Falcarragh in Ballyness Bay which is still inhabited and well worth a visit - you can take a ferry from the nearby port.
A great base to explore this beautiful part of Donegal.
